I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.
I'm Kay
Male. Smart and sentimental. 26yo. Enjoys movies (and porn) and reality shows. Sleeper. Uptight. Likes Robbie Williams. Has been to Singapore. Ogles at men. Just wants to be happy. Prefers to wear boxers. Selfless.
I'm Jay
Male. Sexy and studly. 29yo. Loves sushi and everything meat. Swimmer. Forgetful. Likes House music. Travels world over. Ogles at Kay. Want to be rich but not necessary famous. Likes not to wear underwear. Selfish.
It's been a fast week at work during the weekdays and a slow one at home during the weekend. Now that there are 4 weeks left in my company I fear that I would not be able to complete all my outstanding work. That someone to replace my postion hasn't been hired yet and the management still doesn't want to announce my resignation until June so I've difficulty passing down my work to my colleagues. Not much news on my job, so far with 3 unsuccesful applications. There are 2 invitation for interview but knowing myself that I wouldn't be enjoying the work environment there, I turned them down. I think there are many jobs I've applied but the truth is they are for the sake of just applying so now I want to really go through the job vacancies properly before clicking the Submit button for online application or putting on the stamp on the envelope.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. My colleagues surprised me with a brief celebration in the office with the smallest cake. Talk about being stingy! Heh, but I guess it's the thought that matters most.
The most interesting gift received is a feng shui paraphernalia. A Monkey on Horse ornament.
The monkey signifies the duke which is a senior position in chinese officials. It is the second highest ranking lord among the five ranking lords in ancient China. When the monkey rides on the horse, it implies immediately winning a good position and salary, because monkey sounds like "lord" and on the horse means "immediately" in chinese.
I googled to find out how to place the item to maximize its effect and it is recommended to place it in the north sector of the living room or work desk to improve your career luck and to enable easier promotional opportunities. It would also help to gather more support from subordinates and peers, besides having more command over difficult employees. This is because Monkey on Horse also signifies authority and ability to command like a duke and that would result in joyful wealth improvement.
Wow, sounds great. But let's see what's in store for me.
On a side note, we bought a new beta fish, also blue like Bubbles, but this one is so hyperactive. Hope he's getting enough affection and playtime from Jay. Don't forget to feed him!
Oh yes, thanks to Casual in Istanbul for a very special greeting on the night of my birthday and the sweet words published there on their site. Those were unexpected.
