I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.
I'm Kay
Male. Smart and sentimental. 26yo. Enjoys movies (and porn) and reality shows. Sleeper. Uptight. Likes Robbie Williams. Has been to Singapore. Ogles at men. Just wants to be happy. Prefers to wear boxers. Selfless.
I'm Jay
Male. Sexy and studly. 29yo. Loves sushi and everything meat. Swimmer. Forgetful. Likes House music. Travels world over. Ogles at Kay. Want to be rich but not necessary famous. Likes not to wear underwear. Selfish.
It never felt better. Jay was replying to a few questions by the agent from a headhunting agency and he wrote something touching. One of the questions posed, aside from the usual 'what are your motives for wanting to work in Australia?' and the common 'would you consider contract or permanent?' and the popular 'what is your salary expectations?', was
'Do you have a family you will travel with?'
He answered with a stern 'No'.
But I, being the playful me, added to his answer -'but I do have a boyfriend'. That was done in the draft copy before he replied the headhunter. Of course I was just kidding because that wasn't an appropriate answer though I hoped Jay could write it such way.
Jay replied him later and copied the email to me. As soon as I received his email, I clicked it to read and found in the content, these words:
Do you have a family you will travel with? No, I'm single but I'm attached.
At first look, it's an oxymoron, it doesn't make sense. But if you're in my shoes you'll know that what Jay is trying to convey is that he is single because he is not married and doesn't have a family but he is attached becuase I'm his boyfirend. I think it's a subtle way of telling another person that we are a homosexual couple. I'm smittened. Whether the headhunter guy gets it or not that is another question.
