I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.
I'm Kay
Male. Smart and sentimental. 26yo. Enjoys movies (and porn) and reality shows. Sleeper. Uptight. Likes Robbie Williams. Has been to Singapore. Ogles at men. Just wants to be happy. Prefers to wear boxers. Selfless.
I'm Jay
Male. Sexy and studly. 29yo. Loves sushi and everything meat. Swimmer. Forgetful. Likes House music. Travels world over. Ogles at Kay. Want to be rich but not necessary famous. Likes not to wear underwear. Selfish.
On the way to Jay's place I took a cab and encountered an overfriendly taxi driver. Just seconds after entering the car, he began introducing himself, asking for my name and started to shake hands. He was munching on a cupcake and asked if I had taken my dinner. Then he queried about my job, my hobbies, my hometown, etc. A serial killer at work? Perhaps.
My first impression was,
'Oh no, not another one of those overhelpful, overfriendly male strangers who are awkwardly nice'.
I tried my best to smile and be polite, giving short answers like 'Yes', 'Aha, 'Right', 'Of course', 'You bet'. Halfway conversation I started to interrogate him back so to stop him from asking more. It wasn't the first time. I once had a stalker who kept following me in a bookstore, a smiling guy who said Hi! and a wave to me for no apparent reason, another smiling man in the train, another stranger who wanted to befriend me in the grocery store, and another man who wanted to offer me job in the same bookstore. Scary at times but I always keep it cool assuming nothing drastic could happen in places so public.
It turned out that the taxi driver was indeed a fairly nice man with kids. I was just oversensitive with the whole scenario.
The reason I went over to Jay's place was to get the fish, or rather save him. I'm so gonna hump Jay so hard when he comes back. How could he forget about the fish?
Luckily I remembered. He forgot. A pet unattended for two weeks will die of starvation. However upon googling I found that it is reported that Beta fish can live up to few weeks without being fed. Okay, even if it's true, at least the water needs to be changed. I'm going to call Jay real soon. He'll apologise. Ah, a perfect relationship.
Comments:
Hmm.... Sometimes I did encounter nice taxi drivers, but they're countable with my fingers. But other places? Not even one, although I would really like to have some of those attentions... Hehe....
