I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.
I'm Kay
Male. Smart and sentimental. 26yo. Enjoys movies (and porn) and reality shows. Sleeper. Uptight. Likes Robbie Williams. Has been to Singapore. Ogles at men. Just wants to be happy. Prefers to wear boxers. Selfless.
I'm Jay
Male. Sexy and studly. 29yo. Loves sushi and everything meat. Swimmer. Forgetful. Likes House music. Travels world over. Ogles at Kay. Want to be rich but not necessary famous. Likes not to wear underwear. Selfish.
Jay was browsing through a Feng Shui site and came across a page that describes the best possible partnership between Chinese zodiac animals and he found our relationship there.
Monkey + Snake
Successful despite differences The most devious pair in the Chinese zodiac, these two are ambitious, cunning, and self-reliant. While the cautious, low-profile Snake prefers not to be noticed, the Monkey clowns around candidly. Despite the difference, this will be a firm and effective relationship
I have to agree that both of us are self-reliant, him being the more ambitious and me the slightly cunning one. He immediately pointed out to me that it truly reflects my personality.
Jay: Ha! Just like you, always clowning and flirting around. Kay: And you? Jay: Low-profile and prefers to go unnoticed. Kay: Yeah right...Who's the one getting touched and pat on the back, getting stares from people in the swimming pool? Jay: Hey, not that I can help it. Kay: Who's the one being approached by guys in the pool so often then giving away numbers easily when they ask. Jay: You know I don't like to but I'm just being polite. Kay: Okay. I love you. Jay: I love you too dear.
What just meant to be funny almost got out of control and almost ended up a quarrel. All I want is just to believe in a successful relationship despite differences.
Comments:
Using 'politeness' as the justification for freely dispensing contact numbers is quite old school. But then again, isn't love the most beautiful when the lights are dim? Glad you didn't look too hard.

anonymous - :)
aj - ;)
makeurchoice - Thanks! Well your Chinese zodiac sign is based on the year you are born. The Chinese zodiac has 12 animals in their order of appearance in the Chinese calendar, starting with the rat followed by the ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and boar. Every animal has different personalities and outlooks in life. What is your birth year?
leo - Thanks too!
will - Hmm, I think I said this before...two slithering snakes spiraled and coiled together in passionate love. Whoa sexy!

AJ, my comments were far from being sour, nor were they meant to inject sorrow. don't you agree love is most beautiful when you don't see through the lies, the fakings, the twisted facts? I'm just happy Jay understood this.

anonymous - All is good mate!
makeurchoice - 1982 is the year of the Dog. Those born in the year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people's confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But they can be somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They are acute in intuition, honest and prefer upholding justice, and are respected by others. In love affairs, the love will not be easily varied. They would rather suffer themselves than bother others. Dog people make good leaders. They are compatible with those born in the years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit.
How true are they? You know yourself best!

makeurchoice - 1981 is the Year of the Rooster. Rooster people are very observant. And most of the time, they are very accurate and precise with their observation. With Roosters, what you see is exactly what you get. There are no hidden depths to the Rooster's character: he is neither complicated nor profound, rather, he is very forthright and straightforward.
The rooster likes to be noticed and flattered. He might dress a little flashily with this in mind, but in his heart, he is completely conservative. Roosters always appear attractive and beautifully turned out. They are sociable and love to receive attention.
Believe it or not, it is not an easy task to fool the Rooster. His mind is cautious and skeptical, with this perceptive gift, Roosters make excellent trouble shooters, detectives, doctors, nurses and psychiatrists. Roosters are always up, out and doing. You rarely see a relaxed rooster that sits quietly in the livingroom, doing nothing. They are also multitalented, and can become accomplished in many different ways.
Rooster make great hosts and adore entertaining. The main virtue in the Rooster character is loyalty: they make devoted friends. They always keep their promises and are always true to their word. When Roosters love and admire someone, they will even catch the moon just to keep them happy.

tnx the site says "The Rooster man likes to be in the company of women, among whom he can show off, shine, swagger and generally demonstrate what a clever fellow he is. However, he rarely goes out for a night with the boys; men bore him to extinction." ahhh at least now i know y he wants us to be friends not boyfriends :((
