I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.
I'm Kay
Male. Smart and sentimental. 26yo. Enjoys movies (and porn) and reality shows. Sleeper. Uptight. Likes Robbie Williams. Has been to Singapore. Ogles at men. Just wants to be happy. Prefers to wear boxers. Selfless.
I'm Jay
Male. Sexy and studly. 29yo. Loves sushi and everything meat. Swimmer. Forgetful. Likes House music. Travels world over. Ogles at Kay. Want to be rich but not necessary famous. Likes not to wear underwear. Selfish.
I'm back in KL. Tired and tanned. I've got work tomorrow but I just want to share with you a piece of my trip there. It's late now and I've shown Jay all of the close to 400 photos I've taken. We had dinner and I couldn't stop talking about my experience. Here are some pics for you.
The tuk-tuks come in a variety of colours. They come in handy especially when the rain hits and you are stuck in the busy streets along Patong beach. You can buy umbrellas or raincoats too but it's not surprising that their prices soar high when rain comes.
Sawasdee. These miniature carvings greet you. Not cheap though...Thai Bath 500 is price offered and with good bargaining skills you might be able to get it at less than half the price!
One of the beach looking at Patong beach after the rain in the afternoon.
Nothing significant in particular but somehow the sculpted toned body of this artwork fascinated me. Quite seductive.
The ticket counter to FantaSea, a show that won the Best Attraction award by the Thailand Tourism Ministry. Not quite an attraction to me though. I would rather spend the 1000Bath on island-hopping trip.
One of the many performances prior to the FantaSea show. I thought the guys on the stage were hunks, with good toned body.
Patong beach. Pay 100Bath for a seat on those chairs. Comes with an umbrella for shade. The locals sure knows how to make money.
Part of the Phi Phi Island. Just look at the crystal clear water. Unless your pee is clear and not yellow, don't even think of trying to pee in the water while you swim. People know.
Maya Beach on Phi Phi Island where Leonardo Dicaprio jumps into the sea and killed a shark in the movie The Beach. Due to Hollywood exposure, apparently this is the only beach on Phi Phi Island that charges you 200Bath should you want to go down to the beach. Funds go directly to conserving the island, or so they say.
Now this pic to me is meaningful. This is one Japanese speaking couple I met while on board to Phi Phi Island. It shows love can know no boudaries. He looks French but speaks fluent Japanese. His Japanese bf was constantly taking care of him. Applying sunblock and covering him with towel under the scorching hot sun. He would be seen going into the speedboat and bringing out drinks for the bf. Sitting next to them really dawned on me for the first time on this trip that I missed Jay so much. We would be doing the same too if Jay was with me. The whole evening after that was gloomy for me as I was thinking about him.
Another view from the speedboat.
Sunbathers on the beach of Phi Phi Island Beach Resort. Saw a few topless beautiful ladies there but no guys without pants.
An island that looks like a camel. There is another island called Chicken Island which of course resembles a chicken but we didn't get to see that because it wasn't part of the tour.
Rows of chairs looking the sea on Khai Island. Small island with a long stretch of white sandy beach. Not many trees. Water is warm nearer to the beach and this atracts many fishes.
A reflection of my topless self in the water.
A viewpoint from the sea.
Good night.(and I would never go to any other vacation without Jay)
Comments:
Looks to be a beautiful place indeed. Pity you couldn't take Jay along, but there'll be other times. :o) Now do we get to see your suntan? ;oP
Sounds like a wonderful trip, and now that you have checked it out you can bring Jay and already know the great places to go. Oh, and I agree with Hrugarr, we want photos of you that aren't just reflections in the water!!
