I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.
I'm Kay
Male. Smart and sentimental. 26yo. Enjoys movies (and porn) and reality shows. Sleeper. Uptight. Likes Robbie Williams. Has been to Singapore. Ogles at men. Just wants to be happy. Prefers to wear boxers. Selfless.
I'm Jay
Male. Sexy and studly. 29yo. Loves sushi and everything meat. Swimmer. Forgetful. Likes House music. Travels world over. Ogles at Kay. Want to be rich but not necessary famous. Likes not to wear underwear. Selfish.
I've had dreams about Jay many times, still do, all of different episodes and they're okay, at least I find them normal, but there were two dreams that weren't related and they were a week apart and I didn't know they had something in common until recently.
The first one was weird. I dreamt of walking in a park and I stumbled across this hornbill that was a little bigger than normal, perched on a brach, and it started to shoot feathers towards me, out from its beak! Some of the feathers fell on the ground and some hit me but being just feathers, they weren't painful. After a few minutes trying to take cover from the feathers, I saw the hornbill fell to the ground dead.
Second dream. I was being robbed by a group of merciless bandits in public. Some of the passerby wanted to help but were forbade to do so or they would be killed. So the head of the bandits then came forward to me and took out a syringe with his right hand while holding a feather on his left hand, chanting words that I couldn't comprehend. Before I knew it, I collapsed, couldn't move and then I woke up, scared as hell.
I turn to the web to find out more about dreams related to feathers and these are the results: Feathers are symbols of attainment or mastery of superconscious truths. - I don't understand...
Feathers represent your hopes and thoughts, sometimes vanity and false pride. Seeing a black feather foretells bad luck, and a white feather means fun. - The feathers from the hornbill were colourless. The dream was in black and white. So? However in Dream #2, the top of the feather was white, bottom end was black. Watching feathers fly is a warning that you need to decrease your money-spending habits. Or to dream of seeing feathers falling around you, denotes that your burdens in life will be light and easily borne. - The feathers in Dream #1 are projected towards me. Is this counted as flying?
To see eagle feathers, denotes that your aspirations will be realized. To see chicken feathers, denotes small annoyances. To dream of buying or selling geese or duck feathers, denotes thrift and fortune. And to see peacock, ostrich, or any other ornamental feathers, denotes advancement up the social ladder. You will be met with much success in your future. - Nothing could be found about hornbill feathers.
To dream of feathers floating in the air, signifies a life of ease, comfort, warmth and of financial gains. It may describe your lightheartedness and enjoyment for life. Alternatively, they may represent confusion, hastiness, and lost of dignity. - Again, the feathers in Dream #1 weren't floatin in air. Dream #2, it was held in the hand.
Dreaming of feathers can have as many interpretations as there are feathers, depending on their actions, their colors, the type of bird that furnished them and where they were found. Not that I now understand its total meaning but at least I have some clues about my dreams. Has it got nothing to do about love?
Comments:
Wow, strange dreams! And much more ineresting than the muddled dreams I get. I suppose maybe the feathers could represent hopes and fears (the two are ofen intertwined, or two sides of the same coin).
In the second dream, the feather being in the hand of the bandit leader, it could reflect the sense that you feel as though your hopes and fears are something beyond your control, in fact that other people have control of them and your future/fate rests in other people's hands. I'm not saying that is the case, of course, but simply a feeling or impression that you might have.
The hornbill dream is even more surreal, I don't know at all! Did the dream dictionary say anything about what a hornbill bird itself might symbolise?
They say that if you remember your dream means that you've not been sleeping soundly. Meaning you're not getting enough rest or something like that. I think its true cause whenever I do remember my dream, I tend to be tired and fatigue. Its been a long time since I remembered my dreams.
