Story of Jay and Kay

About Us
I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.

I'm Kay

Young And In Love

On my way back home last nite in the train I saw a couple, probably college students, both guys with shiny ear studs on their left ear, standing next to each other and chatting away happily. When it came to their stop, they walked out and amidst the busy crowd pushing their way out, I saw the taller one of them, had his hand gently holding his bf's butt, while walking close to him from behind. And his bf turned back to smile at him just then. When they were out on the platform, he put his arm over his bf's shoulders and they walked away together as one.

The whole scene was short but it made me smile. I couldn't help but be happy for them.

Hmm, I'd probably feel happy for them for two minutes ... and then grumpy about my (single) self for the next twenty minutes after. :oD

Hmmm...how very observant you are! Sometimes, these observations have the unseen power to renew our hopes, and to bring us a wee bit of happiness too.

I also remembered once, in the heart of KL, walking across the street was an old couple....the husband was holding the wife's hand, as if leading her to cross the street. They could easily be in their 60s. But they acted as if they were still dating! Such observations give us hope, and remind us that love is still very much alive - if only we find the right person.

Don't give up, Kay. Keep looking. :-)

The best thing of seeing such a scene is to know that sooner or later you'll be the "observed one" ;)

Wa~~~ *sob sob

Someone pass me a box of tissue. The most touching story yet.

Everyone will have their moments in life, in due time...

ru - I felt exactly the same way but my grumpiness lasted for two hours instead.

someone who cares - I also want to be able to hold the hands of the one I love when I'm old.

melpospain - It feels good to be the observed ones. Used to be that. For now I think I just want to observe.

defiant85 - I think if we take our minds off from what's bothering us, we can see the beauty even in the simplest things in life.

simple things to perk up the mood, after a tiring, long day uh?

everybody deserves true love. it just takes time to find The One.

after each dark and stormy night (like the one outside my room now), the sun will rise the next morn the same to illuminate.

be well.

jayandkay - Very true. Often the simplest things are the most beautiful of them all.

Wow, they're starting out so young. They're really lucky.

But don't fret. Our story isn't over yet.

joshua - It helps to renew hopes, as said by someonewhocares.

defiant85 - Yeah. Like waking up in the morning and saying Good Morning to the one sleeping next to you. Simple yet always beautiful.

ban - Age is not a barrier I think. It's what and how you feel in your heart that counts.
